The unmistakable character of the Australian bush, captured in Corten steel.

Part of our Corten Botanical Series, The Gum celebrates the familiar form of the Australian gum tree — a broad spreading canopy, twisting branches and a strong trunk rising from exposed roots.

Few trees are more closely associated with the Australian landscape. From towering forests to solitary paddock trees, gums have shaped the character of the bush and provided shelter and habitat for generations of Australian wildlife.

Each Gum is CNC laser cut from 2mm Corten weathering steel at Black Magic Forge. Supplied in raw steel, it will naturally develop the rich, earthy rusted patina that makes Corten such a beautiful material for outdoor artwork. As it weathers, variations in colour and texture mean every piece develops its own character.

Available in two sizes:

• Normal — 764mm high × 450mm wide × 2mm
• Large — 985mm high × 580mm wide × 2mm

Perfect amongst native gardens, mounted against fences and walls, beside an entrance or as a feature piece on a rural property.
