A tribute to one of Australia’s most ancient and unmistakable trees.

Part of our Corten Botanical Series, The Bunya captures the distinctive silhouette of the iconic Bunya Pine (Araucaria bidwillii) — from its strong central trunk and layered canopy to the spreading roots below.

Inspired by the magnificent Bunya Pines of Queensland, this piece celebrates a tree that has stood as part of the Australian landscape for countless generations.

Each Bunya is CNC Laser cut from 2mm Corten weathering steel at Black Magic Forge. Supplied in raw steel, it will naturally develop the rich, earthy rusted patina that makes Corten such a striking material for outdoor artwork. As it weathers, variations in colour and texture mean every piece develops its own character.

Available in two sizes:

• Regular — 764mm high × 450mm wide × 2mm
• Large — 985mm high × 580mm wide × 2mm

Perfect as a feature amongst garden beds, against fences and walls, beside an entrance or incorporated into a larger native garden landscape.
